Jenne Nitishin (b. 1982) earned her BFA at Pratt Institute in 2004 with a core focus in painting. She has shown her work in work in New York City, Brooklyn (NY), St. Petersburg (FL) Miami (FL), Boston (MA), Worcester (MA) and Newport (RI).

"I've always had an interest in the figure- the surface of flesh, how one may feel inside their body, movement, and playing with color and texture. I regularly practice working from live models, which is deeply important to me. It allows me to utilize the representational study of the body to then carry over into my studio work."
